When it rains on your parade, get a raincoat. There are 249,892 excuses why you are not going to go out there and walk today. Don’t let rain be one of them. Suck it up cupcake, you are not the wicked witch of the west. You will not melt. Joe says, “Get outside, blow the stink off!”
Some days we will want to hope for a reason to not get out there and do the walk. Truth be told, there are going to be days when it is simply not possible. The time will come when you physically cannot do it. Don’t let rain, heat or cold be an excuse. Fight the urge to give into to nature. Mother Nature is only as bad as you let her be.
Be sure to put on some good shoes that don’t slip in the mud. Get your rain gear on and fight the elements. Hey, it’s just for a quick hour or 30 minutes. Whatever you can do is better than not doing anything.
